Executive Chef Drew Van Leuvan
With 25+ years in the hospitality industry, Chef Drew leads Ecco Buckhead’s kitchen as Executive Chef with a passion for eclectic comfort foods that shines through the menu’s fresh pastas & small plates.
Inspired by food culture from an early age, Drew graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and hit the ground running, apprenticing beneath world renowned chefs including Jean Louis Palladin, Guenter Seeger & Wylie Dufresne. After a stint at NYC’s Palladin, Drew relocated to Atlanta to sharpen his skills, operate his own handmade pasta company and lead the kitchen at Buckhead's Seven Lamps before joining the team at Ecco Buckhead in 2021.
A Star Chefs Rising Star Award winner and recognized as one of Food & Wine magazine’s Chefs on the Rise, Drew is passionate about mentorship & molding young chefs into exceptional cooks to continue Atlanta's tradition of great culinary talent.
